Only recently the Naturel Bergresort "DIE KANZLERIN" was modernized, now one follows the quality push also on culinary level: Starting from 3 December star cook Hermann Andritsch, of many years as well as celebrated restaurant Lagana chef in Villach, will change to the Gerlitzen Alpe.

Gourmet pleasure à la Hermann Andritsch 

With Hermann Andritsch, a renowned name moves into the hotel kitchen of the "KANZLERIN": For his culinary skills there were already three Gault Millau hoods as well as top awards from Falstaff and À La Carte. The mountain resort restaurant is a literal climb for the cooking professional, as this is located at 1,500 meters above sea level.

The new altitude also brings new concepts, because the clientele on the mountain differs from the business guest in the valley. "After a phase of experimentation, we are thinking about new food concepts that fit the spirit of the house, the guests and the sporty alpine environment," reveals head chef Hermann Andritsch. Details are currently not yet known - but high enjoyment with Austrian and Alpe-Adria flavors is guaranteed in any case.

"DIE KANZLERIN" is the latest address of Naturel Hotels & Resorts, which also includes the SEELEITN and that SCHÖNLEITN on Lake Faak. The modern mountain resort expands its portfolio with 94 elegant apartments in four categories, which have been carefully modernized over the last two years. Surrounded by unspoiled alpine landscape and only a short drive from Lake Ossiach, they invite you to self-determined vacations on the Gerlitzen. 

Thus, the accommodations in contemporary-alpine style have a fully equipped kitchen and a private balcony or terrace. The luxury of a hotel stay is provided by the attached wellness area with indoor pool, sauna and steam bath. Guests are also catered for in terms of enjoyment by the mountain resort: fine drinks and cocktails are available in the bars and lounges, and breakfast and dinner are served in the resort's own restaurant. Not only, but especially because of the new chef Hermann Andritsch guests will hang up the wooden spoon more often during their stay to be spoiled culinary there.
