Ever since Rosewood Vienna first opened its doors this past summer, it has been one of the most revered hotels in the Austrian capital. On October 3, the prestigious house finally opened its Asaya Spa, which spans the fifth and sixth floors of the hotel. In addition to incomparable views of the dome of St. Peter's Church, the Rosewood Vienna Spa also offers effective and customized facial and body treatments.

Transformative experience

The elegant oasis of relaxation allows both hotel and external guests to experience essential elements of the Rosewood lifestyle for the first time outside of Asia. Asaya inspires people to find themselves and live a fulfilled life in harmony with body, mind and soul. Guests at the Rosewood Vienna Spa choose from a variety of treatments and rituals that represent the Asaya pillars of wellness: physical health, skin health and community. In doing so, Rosewood is adding integrative wellness experiences to its global portfolio.

But the Rosewood Vienna Spa also sets new standards in other respects. As the first spa in Vienna and one of the first in the German-speaking world, the Asaya Spa offers the exclusive "Augustinus Bader Signature Method" treatments. These are based on years of research by the professor of the same name. He is one of the leading scientists in the field of stem cell research and regenerative medicine. As head of the Institute for Applied Science at the University of Leipzig, he can look back on more than 30 years of research work.

Exclusive treatments

The result of Prof. Augustinus Bader's work is the patented TFC8® technology. The complex combines naturally occurring and synthesized molecules in the skin with natural amino acids and high-quality vitamins. In collaboration with the Asaya Spa team, a selection of exclusive treatments was created using the luxurious skin care products with TFC8® technology.

The highly effective, patented complex directs important nutrients into the skin that stimulate its self-healing powers and create an optimal environment for cell renewal. "With the opening of our Asaya Spa at Rosewood Vienna, we are pleased to offer our guests the opportunity to experience the signature principles and rituals of the Asaya brand. It's a privilege to work with Augustinus Bader and bring the patented skin care concepts to Vienna for the first time," said Nadine Kaindl, Spa Manager at Rosewood Vienna.

Customized Wellness Experiences

Four treatment rooms and a relaxation area provide the setting for the treatments. In addition, there is a sauna, a steam bath and an experience shower. The Social Suite on the fifth floor is the special highlight at Rosewood Vienna Spa. The private spa area is suitable for a private time-out among friends and couples. In addition to a private relaxation room with a gorgeous view, it has its own sauna and steam bath, as well as a treatment room.

The Asaya Spa team puts together a customized wellness package for each guest. In keeping with Rosewood's motto "A Sense of Place®," the inspiration for many treatments comes directly from the surrounding area. Mountain Glory, for example, is a full-body treatment based on an ancient Austrian ritual that uses warm salt stones for relaxation. After Hong Kong, Phuket and Guangzhou, Rosewood Vienna is now the fourth hotel worldwide to have its own Asaya Spa.
