In his blackly humorous psychological thriller. The Menu star chef Slowik, played by Ralph Fiennes, invites his guests to an extraordinary dining experience on the remote island of Hawthorne. Here, he produces and creates phenomenal dishes for celebrities and billionaires: the exclusive tasting menu at the open-kitchen restaurant costs guests a paltry $1,250 per person.

Among the prestigious guests are Margot, portrayed by Anya Taylor-Joy, and her heavily wealthy boyfriend Tyler, played by Nicholas Hoult. While the gourmet is absolutely thrilled, his companion is less than impressed by the cooking spectacle put on by the chef and his kitchen crew, who worship him like a god.

And soon the enchantment of the other guests turns to horror when it becomes clear that they are not just here to consume gourmet cuisine. As the latest trailer reveals, the guests are even captured at the end and have to fear for their lives. Whether the spectacle is part of the menu or not, however, will only be revealed in theaters starting November 17.

Filming took place in Savannah Georgia. The island scenes were shot on Tybee Island, a small barrier island in the state, in Tybee Beach and in private residences on Horsepen Point Drive. The quiet island has been considered a popular weekend getaway since the 19th century, with its sandy, sprawling beaches, American Civil War-era monuments and beautiful sunsets over the Atlantic.
