Together with the Reuben Brothers, the renowned Oetker Collection is opening its first Masterpiece Hotel in the USA in sunny Palm Beach, Florida. The historic hotel The Vineta is set to debut as The Vineta Hotel in late 2023.

The past becomes the present

Amid designer boutiques, excellent restaurants and art galleries, not far from the golden sandy beaches of the popular Florida coastal town, The Vineta Hotel will be welcoming guests into its elegant halls by the end of next year. 

The hotel looks back on a history of almost a century: opened in 1926 as Lido Venice and renamed The Vineta shortly thereafter, the hotel has accommodated guests from all over the world for a long time. Most recently, it was known as The Chesterfield. Now, the Oetker Collection has taken on the storied establishment and restored it to its former glory. In keeping with all modern luxury standards, of course.

Pale pink on the outside, light-flooded and elegant on the inside: the building in Mediterranean revival style was extensively renovated for its reopening as The Vineta Hotel. Parisian interior designer Tino Zervudachi is responsible for the hotel's new look, for which he skillfully combined cosmopolitan elements with typically fresh Palm Beach flair.

Between elegance and palm trees

The hotel offers 41 spacious rooms and suites. The former Leopard Lounge, a hotspot for celebrities and wannabes in its day, has been transformed into the hotel's restaurant. The locale invites guests to lunch and dinner in the elegant rooms as well as the large courtyard with vines and palm trees. There will also be a chic bar and an indoor-outdoor Mediterranean restaurant with a pool. "The announcement of our first Masterpiece Hotel in the United States is a monumental moment in the history of our property," says Timo Gruenert, CEO of The Oetker Collection.
