Typical! These holiday types make holidays so delightfully predictable.

10 September 2021

When it comes to choosing where one should go on holiday , opinions often differ. The choice is not so different and spontaneous as thought, because peaople are proven to remain very loyal to the tried and tested. Thus, depending on the character, different holiday types have developed. Which one are you?

1. the all-inclusive holidaymaker

The all-inclusive holidaymaker plans and organises everything for the stay in advance, down to the last detail. Either he does this himself, or instructs a travel agency. This is necessary so that when the time comes, everything can revolve around relaxation and no finger has to be lifted. After all, vacation is for the good things in life, like surfing, snorkeling and hiking!

2. the adrenaline seeker

For this type of holiday, it's the adventure that counts. It does not matter what activity he does, as long as adrenaline flows through the body. The perfect stay generates formative memories. This can be a bungee jump or a night in a fancy accommodation. Family and friends of the adrenaline seeker eagerly await his return, because this type of vacation always has an exciting story ready.

3. the culture lover

The third in the list of holiday types is the culture lover. Mostly you can find him walking through the city with a guidebook or a city map in his hand and with a backpack on his back, which is especially suitable for city trips. This holiday type also likes to plan a lot - but he has to, because the culture lover would love to inhale the whole city including its sights.

4. the spontaneous

As the name suggests, the spontaneous person likes to do their holiday planning last minute - when they suddenly feel the urge for adventure and relaxation. This happens without further ado one day or one hour before departure. There is not much time to compare prices, but with luck he will find a cheap last minute offer.

5. the recurrence

Of the seven holiday types, the returners probably value the tried and tested the most. Because once they have found a destination they like, they remain loyal to it and are reluctant to change accommodation. Why go through the trouble of finding something new when you already have everything you need for the perfect holiday? Moreover, it is nice when strangers in the area become friends over time.

6. the health conscious

Health is a top priority for this type, even on vacation. Or rather, he goes on vacation to optimize his fitness and health. Therefore, he already pays attention to the selection of the hotel, which food and which sports offer is advertised. Once at the accommodation, the health-conscious person usually gets up before sunrise in order to be able to use the day as productively as possible.

7. the harmonious wellness eater

The all-inclusive holidaymaker and the wellness eater are holiday types who value peace and relaxation. In contrast to the all-inclusive holidaymaker, however, the wellness eater moves rather little. They usually sweat in the sauna, regenerate their skin with nourishing masks or lie with a glass of champagne in their hand at a pool area with a breathtaking panoramic view.
