Located on New York's Upper East Side and not far from Central Park, you'll find one of the largest suites in the United States. It extends over two floors – and they know how to use them. The living area has five bedrooms, four fireplaces, six bathrooms, two dressing rooms, two wet bars, and a living room. The latter can be transformed into a grand ballroom upon request. The furnishings were designed by Jacques Grange. Each piece is unique. The penthouse includes a 230-square-meter rooftop terrace that offers breathtaking views of Central Park.

In terms of space, the "Grands Appartements" at the Rosewood-managed Hôtel de Crillon in Paris are not the largest of their kind. Supposedly, this is the most expensive suite in the world. With a lot of bang for your buck, however. We're not just talking about the twelve bedrooms – complete with separate bathrooms – a gym, a library, and a dining room that seats 26 people. On top of that there's a helipad, 6 cm thick safety glass and a Steinway grand piano. Michael Jackson, Rihanna, and Bill Gates all enjoyed themselves in the hot tub here. Guests who stay here can have a private butler and chef as well.
