Six Senses under new leadership: Neil Palmer promoted to Chief Operating Officer

Management changes: Six Senses welcomes long-time restaurateur Neil Palmer as Chief Operating Officer at the Singapore location. From now on, Neil will support the group's growing portfolio with his expertise.

Turnaround at Six Senses: Just recently, the company announced that they want to be plastic-free by the end of the coming year . In addition, there are numerous new openings, most recently in Shaharut and Ibiza.

New addition to the management team

The latest change: long-time restaurateur Neil Palmer will take on the role of Chief Operating Officer and will henceforth support the group's growing portfolio of hotels, resorts and spas in 20 countries, as well as another 34 properties that are currently still in the development phase. His focus will also be on integrating the Six Senses vision of "Reconnection" into resorts, city hotels and residences.

Expertise through many years of experience

Neil not only has a true passion for tourism, but also brings with him over 37 years of experience in the international hospitality industry, the majority of which he spent with Starwood Hotels & Resorts. In his role as Senior Vice President Operations Asia Pacific, he developed the company's hotel portfolio and oversaw upcoming hotel openings in the region.

After some 25 years at Starwood, Neil became Chief Executive Officer and co-owner of premium luxury company Per AQUUM Retreats & Resorts, most recently serving as Chief Executive Officer for Elements HSC - a company he himself co-founded, specializing primarily in global hospitality consulting and asset management.

Further development of Six Senses

A graduate of the Institute of Hospitality UK's Westminster Hotel School in London, Neil is now a dedicated leader with a belief that learning and development should be constants in life. Neil spent his childhood between Kenya, New Zealand and Fiji and currently lives in New Zealand. He is now looking forward to new experiences with his son Alex, wife Jo and his new Six Senses family at the Singapore location. There, he will continue to drive the brand's operations through its authentic blend of wellness, sustainability, emotional hospitality, personalized experiences and growing community.
